Hey,

A lot of 3D freelancers I talk to are doing everything to get more clients.
Posting on LinkedIn.
Sending cold emails.
Tweaking their portfolio.
Watching sales videos.
Trying a new outreach method every other week.

And still nothing really sticks.

The problem usually isn’t effort.
It’s focus and patience.

There are countless people online promising fast and easy ways to get clients.
And when you’re under pressure, it’s tempting to believe them.

So artists try seven different methods at once.
They run all of them half-heartedly.
Then, after a few weeks, they conclude:
“None of this works for me.”

Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
Some of those methods would have worked.
Just not all at once.
And not that quickly.

No one expects to master lighting, modeling, or composition in two weeks.
Yet many freelancers expect to master client acquisition in exactly that time.

Getting clients is a skill.
Just like 3D.
And skills only improve with repetition, feedback, and time.

If you jump between strategies too fast, you never stay long enough to get good at any of them.

Progress comes from choosing one path and sticking to it long enough to build confidence.
Not from chasing every new promise of speed.

A small business win you can do today

Pick one client acquisition method.
Just one.

Commit to it for the next 30 days without switching.
Track what you do.
Notice what feels uncomfortable.
That discomfort is usually where learning happens.

Consistency beats intensity.
Every time.

Tiny tactical tip:
Write down all the ways you are currently trying to get clients. Cross out everything except one. The goal isn’t doing more. It’s doing one thing long enough to improve.
