It happens to every good artist eventually.

You quote a project you're perfect for.
The client goes with someone else.
And when you see what they shipped, the work is worse than yours would have been.

The first explanation everyone reaches for: price.
It's almost never price.

The client didn't compare your renders side by side. They compared how obvious each choice felt. And the other artist, better or not, was easier to say yes to.

That's positioning. Last week's video covered picking your niche. This one is the next step: how to become the obvious choice inside it, so the client stops comparing and starts deciding.

I walk through exactly how in the new video.

Tiny tactical tip:
Open your website or portfolio header and read the first line a client sees.
Does it describe what you do, or who it's for and what they get?
The first version makes them think. The second makes them decide. Rewrite toward the second.
