Every dry spell I ever had followed the same pattern.

Busy months, heads down, no time to think about new clients. Then the projects wrapped, I looked up, and the calendar was empty. Panic outreach for weeks.

The fix wasn't a marketing system. It was embarrassingly small: 20 minutes, once a week, same slot, sales pipeline only.

In that slot I do exactly one of these. Message one past client I haven't talked to in a while. Send one new outreach message. Or follow up on one proposal that went quiet.

One action. Then I close the tab and go back to work.

It feels like nothing. That's the point. It's small enough to survive the busy weeks, and the busy weeks are exactly when your pipeline quietly dies.

Twenty minutes a week means the work never fully stops coming, so you're never negotiating from an empty calendar again.

Tiny tactical tip:
Put the slot in your calendar right now, recurring, before you close this email.
Friday at 9 works for most people.
Don't decide what you'll do in it yet. Just make the 20 minutes exist. The slot creates the habit, not the other way around.
